The park lists 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, seven days a week, including most public holidays. A few directories still carry an older 7:00 PM closing time and the adjoining cultural village runs evening performances on selected nights, so call ahead if you are planning to arrive late in the day.

Gate rates are set by the park and have changed several times in recent years, with published figures ranging from roughly 200 to 450 pesos for an adult depending on the year and on what the ticket bundles in. Treat any figure you read online as indicative and confirm the current rate at the ticket booth or by phone before you travel.

Standard gate tickets have generally covered the Crocodile Park, the Butterfly House and Tribu K’Mindanawan cultural village in one price, with paid add-ons for feeding experiences, photo opportunities and the adventure activities next door. Bundling changes, so read the tariff board at the booth before you pay.

Wildlife and feeding presentations are typically staged twice a day, in the late morning and mid-to-late afternoon. The Mindanao fire dance at the neighbouring cultural village is an evening performance, usually on Fridays and weekends. Schedules are posted at the gate each morning and shift with the season.

Pangil is the park’s headline resident and one of the largest crocodiles ever held in the Philippines. He has his own pool along the main circuit. Crocodiles bask and barely move for hours, so the best chance of seeing him active is around a scheduled feeding.

Yes. Paths are flat and mostly paved, the circuit is short, and there are close-up bird and reptile encounters that children remember. Strollers are manageable. Keep hands and phones well behind the barriers at the crocodile pens.

Arrive at opening, around 8:00 to 9:00 AM, while it is still cool and the animals are alert, or come after 3:00 PM for softer light and a shot at the late-afternoon show. Midday in Davao is hot, humid and the flattest light of the day.

Yes. There is a free open lot at the park entrance inside Riverfront Corporate City, with additional space along the internal estate roads. It fills up on Sundays, holidays and school field-trip mornings, so arriving early makes the difference.

Yes. The riverside restaurant in the complex has long served crocodile several ways — sisig, sizzling, pasta and steak — alongside ostrich and ordinary Filipino dishes. The meat comes from the farm side of the operation.

The park sits in Ma-a, roughly 6 to 8 kilometres from the city centre — about 15 to 30 minutes by car depending on traffic on the Diversion Road. From Francisco Bangoy International Airport, allow 30 to 45 minutes.

Visitors report being able to leave and re-enter the grounds, so buying food outside and coming back in is workable. There are snack bars and a full restaurant inside the complex if you would rather not. Bring water either way — Davao afternoons are hot and humid.
